I'm glad they have erred on the side of caution, but I believe Thornton when he says there's not much to worry about with him. Great interview in that clip Colt posted.

Great interview, I really don't think Thornton should be viewed any differently than he was before the fight.

There's a fun interview with him on Puck Daddy today.....

Quote:
Interviewer: In the aftermath of the Manti Te'o news, is there a guy on the Bruins that you wouldn't be surprised fell for a fake Internet girlfriend?

Thornton: [Laughs] I think Tyler Seguin probably has a few hundred fake girlfriends on the Internet.

they also leave out the fact that Scott & Thornton had a war of words before Lucic hit Miller.

Thornton technically had a concussion, but it's not like he was taken off the ice on a stretcher. The Bruins are going to be ultraconservative when it comes to head injuries, as they should. That doesn't mean every head injury is career-threatening.

Bingo. I doubt his concussion was even remotely severe if even from he beginning they expected him to only be out for 7-10 days.... before these injuries started being a big deal it likely wouldn't have ever been acknowledged. I'd bet a lot of players have had very minor concussions like this. I'm not at all worried.
