Yeah, he had some step on that backcheck. Almost put it in the wrong net, but great effort. Just ran out of gas on the second attack, but got semi-hooked and held twice on his rush. Maybe the refs will swallow their whistles, which wouldn't be the worst for this team.
Liking the effort, but I just know which team is gonna score the next goal...

He's not that good. He can't hold onto the puck, he gets knocked off it too easily, and he's knocked off balance in general too much. He needs size and strength in his game or his finesse skills aren't worth much in a checking league.

Hopefully he has enough in the tank to keep it up. If he keeps moving like this, he'll regain a lot of his old self.

I'll take that penalty from Ovie about now, stupid or no. That's the price of Ovie playing balls to the wall - the occasional board/rough. Means he's into it.
