I'd say McLaren and MacDermid is a lock for tonight. Guys who have seen each other a ton in the AHL and are looking to make impressions. McLaren definitely won one scrap between them (I was in attendance for that one) but the other I'd call a solid draw. I'd wager some hefty vCash those two will go.

Which leaves Orr, and I truly think after what happened with Scott & Thornton, Chara or Lucic is going to step up tonight to fight him. Lucic would be my pick after the loss the last time those two went. People might think he'll just forget it but I am not convinced, especially after Orr broke his nose and the horse**** circus Don Cherry created around the fight.

I don't think the Scott/Thornton fight will change the way the Bruins play, but the way they play is to pretty much take on all comers. If Thornton isn't there, someone else will step up to do it, plus I do think they'd like to show Thornton that was he does is beyond appreciated by all of them.

5-1 Bruins tonight.

Goals for Kelly, Bourque with his first, Horton, and Seguin with 2 cause it's Toronto.

It would be great if Bourque scored. Especially if it was a game winner.

I'm really pulling for him. Even if he just gets one it could propel his confidence ten fold. Like to see him get a lucky one, garbage goal type.

Also it woudn't surprise me if Dougie got his first tonight... and ohhhh they'd love it in TO.

What if Dougie sets up Seguin for three goals in the first period Toronto will go insane.

Why would you do something when he targets one of our top players like this, just ignore him, it worked so well when 2 of our guys were targeted by headshots thursday.

I see the D stepping up and getting a shutout tonight. Nasty Nate with a goal.

Oh yeah and Orr beats up anyone on this team, no question, maybe except Chara if Z hugs him quick enough.
Agreed. This carries a lot of weight IMO... The 5 min thing is kinda foolish considering the players do not play the whole game anyways. The injury thing is a valid, valid concern.

The 5 minutes is not everything but I don't like that we can't have our #1 guy on the ice when we want, matched up against who we want. Especially if it's Chara.

In that case I'd say call the mercy rule and fly the Bruins safely outta there cause that building would be in flames very soon.

Too me it goes beyond the injury aspect. Although that is concern #1 without a doubt. You take Chara out for 5 minutes it also throws off all line match ups from even, PP to PK for that duration plus a few more minutes beyond to recalibrate.

So even if I purchased center ice(which I am soon) just because this game is on nationally I HAVE to watch it with the toronto broadcasters or the nhl network crew and NESN isn't an option.

Just awesome
