I love my team with unequalled passion - but I am beginning to hate my fanbase with an equal amount.
Are you guys seriously so fragile that one single lopsided fight causes you to become completely unravelled?
Jesus. He lost to a guy with 6 inches and 50 pounds. He's the same player now that he was last week, injury aside.
MacDermid hung in there with Mike Rupp not even a year ago - maybe even took a win - and now he's useless, and he didn't even DO anything! You guys kill me. Good comedy, anyway.
Exactly. Other teams have muscled up just because of us, we lose one fight, and now some are panicking like there's been an entire team role-reversal and we're the wimps that need a goon or two.
I have to say in my 10 years of being a STH and all of the fans we have met over the years from the "other" teams the Leaf fans are one of the best to sit with. They have been fun and know their hockey.
Damn, Leaf fans infest this thread like mealybugs.

I mean, everyone is fully entitled to enjoy this sport as they please, but damn I just... I don't see the point in getting worked up about lucic fighting or Thornton being "washed up" on and on, this game is supposed to be fun. If following the bruins stressed me out (as opposed to be a source of escape) I'd bail on them faster than Ted Kennedy in a sinking car.
Enjoy the game tonight people, drink, be merry...it's Saturday
Lucic and Seguin always have huge games against the Leafs, and Dougie has been knocking on the door for a loong time now... What better team to score first on?
I love close, exciting games but every one so far has been tight. Is it too much to ask for a blowout so I can breathe easy....and Julien can rest some of the go-to guys late in a game? This being groundhog day, I hope it's more of the same for the Leafs with another drubbing at the hands of the Bruins.
