Splitted with cam ward, then took the starting job with this awsome streak, then lost it to cam ward, when cam really started dominating and krahn was only average. Krahn has had a good season, but has had to deal with playing next to one of the best goalie prospects around, which has hurt his icetime.

Do you guys think if Calgary does get Omaha next year and Krahn will play most of the games he could turn into a solid starter NHL.

Krahn from day one of his draft was listed as a guy who would take 5-6 years to become an NHL netminder, which isn't that crazy when you're talking about goalies. Krahn has been slowed by his injuries but has been injury free this year. I say he is very much back on track and I hope he will be the clear cut #1 when the Flames name their idependant farm team in the summer.

Yeah, I still think he has the tools to turn himself into an NHLer. The next step for him will be to win consistently at the AHL level as a #1.
