You'd think that addressing how his team celebrates after a win, would be one of the least pressing things on Therriens agenda.

Therrien should have just addressed the situation when the time came, at least this way, he might never have to.

So stupid....

The NHL - crushing individuality since the 1910's....

I remember going to watch the Habs play against the Lightning last year. Crowd cheered after the win but went BERSERK when they did the triple low five.

Therrien sucks.

There is no disrespect to opponents or fans of the triple low five.

I'm old school, but man I am starting to hate the old school mentality

They're taking, "The NHL is a business," a bit too far.

Not too long before the players are playing in suits.

It's a shame that two of the most colorful and fun personalities in Price & Subban aren't allowed to have some fun if they win.

If so you then sign him for the 2 years and trade him to the highest bidder.

This. Price showed everyone at the All-Star break that he has a wicked sense of humor (and maybe a drinking problem...LOL) so let's make sure he gives generic interviews full of cliches and the word "obviously".

Subban is already too "flashy" (i.e. black) for the old guard of the NHL. Make sure after he scores a goal. He promptly puts his head down and skates back to his spot by the face-off circle.

What a shot of positivity to tell players they can't do something that makes them happy and doesn't hurt anyone else.

Best response Krueger gave when asked about Yak's celebration

Quote:
He can do that 25 times a year if he wants.

Don't see what the big deal is, hockey isn't supposed to fun or entertaining anyway, right Michel?

Wow, this is really stupid. It's not like they ignored their teammates just to have triple low five celebrations... how does that hurt the team?

Obviously everyone from Northern BC has a "drinking problem" they get 110% of the cold of BC winters so obviously they need to keep busy somehow so yeah obviously.

I hope fans chant "Triple Low Five" or that the team does a collective TLF.

Out of curiosity, what would Therrien actually do if Price and Subban were to do the TLF anyway? Bench them? Not likely (at least for Price).
