If you want to blame it on Pominville or Vanek the two constant players from those teams you can go ahead. But it's obvious its a coaching problem.
Not the point.

2 words, practice mode.

They hold the puck tentatively like they have all day to find the right play. Not the way the NHL works. Quick hitting plays or you get left behind.

This team is constantly unprepared and is constantly putting in low effort, low intensity games. That's on the coach. Because it's happened for years and years with more than one group of players.

I love when people tell you what the problem isn't, but don't offer up what is. Look, if you don't know what the problem is, then you certainly can't know what it isn't. That's just logic.

We'd be in the same situation with Scotty Bowman.

No.

Pommers isn't lazy.

Vanek isn't lazy.... but they both have periods of time when they are.

Foligno isn't lazy but he was today..... thats on him...not Ruff.

No, thats actually the opposite of logic. You can clearly and obviously rule certain things out. Think about your car. You can replace certain parts and thereby rule them out as causing the problem, but be no closer to identifying the actual issue.

lol I can't believe you are advocating keeping Ruff. What will it take to convince you to get rid of him? I'm curious. If our defense plays like this the rest of the year, and we go on a 40 game losing streak, you still gonna advocate keeping him?

That defense was purchased by Darcy Regier, and coached by James Patrick and Lindy Ruff who hired him. I don't care who you blame, but please at least pick one?????????????????

I know your idea of logic has problems.

It's the players guys. We've just had lazy players ever since Lindy Ruff was hired. A coincidence guys Lindy is a great coach.

Which proves my point. If you don't know what you're doing, keep your hands off it. The proper 'logical' method would be to IDENTIFY the problem, and then correct it. Not keep fixing random things which didn't need fixing until you stumble onto the problem.

Ruff can be held liable at any time. Its fine if he's fired...as long as he's replaced with an upgrade.

Whats not fine is hammering the guy for the players ****** play.

So you're going to blame the players? Not the guys who brought them in and decide to play them(and give them fat extensions)? That's ridiculous.
