I love when you guys are self-trolling about us

Just want to add our unbelievable bad minor system and even worse we have a really poor CHL pool. Norfolks Cup win was all because of the many long-time AHLers.....

Such a fluke. We'd struggle in the EIHL.

Its true. We actually had an Exhibition game against the Belfast Giants. We lost soo badly that Yzerman and Boucher were working extremly hard behind the scenes to destroy any evidence of it. They have titled said nightmare as "The day that never was."

To be fair the average cost of tickets to a game in Tampa Bay is 17.

They lost 4-3 to the Islanders, scoring only 3. But yeah, that was the only game so far scoring less than 4. Impressive!

I could see them maintaining a good pace for the regular season but I don't see this team succeeding in the playoffs. Similar to Pitt or even Philly last year.

Tampa Bay isn't going anywhere. They've got no depth or d.

and Conacher is a fluke. He wasn't even drafted and he's a product of playing with Stamkos and St. Louis. It's not too hard to succeed in a trap system like theirs.

Purcell is a product of Lecavalier, Stamkos, and St. Louis.
Lecavalier has a horrible contract and is getting worse by year.
Hedman isn't developing like he should be.
Salo is too injury prone.
Carle sucks.
Brewer sucks.
Idk how Conacher is even in the same discussion as Tarasenko.
This team doesn't even forecheck.

I think that covers just about all of it.

Oh, and they play in the Southeast.

Team success stars with the front office and let's face it Boucher is a terrible coach always using the 1-3-1 or some other trap system. Teams just cannot win that way anymore. Plus he looks like a James Bond villain.

And then there is Steve Yzerman. That guy is a proven loser. Especially as a GM what has he won as a GM of any organization. (Gold medals and AHL Calder cups don't count as this is a NHL message board.)
1 game away from the eastern conference championship his first year as a GM=loser.

Unless they could go on a run like they did in their first year under Boucher they won win much. I don't see them as a true Cup contender.

That defense is not that good and it will show its colours sooner or later and Lindback is still unproven.
I would agree with this, they are 5-0 at home and Philly and Washington haven't hit their stride yet.

I would put more stock and faith into Chicago and San Jose start than the Bolts who are on an upward trend but will level out a bit.

They might be able to make more noise in the playoffs than most people think if Washington and Philly don't come around but even Philly with their horrible start are only 4 points out of a playoff spot.

The next 5 games will tell us alot more as they play the NYR tonight at home then go on a road trip and play Philly, NJ, Boston, NYR in 6 nights on the road.

No way, not with that coaching. Boucher is a one trick pony. Everyone figured out his 1-3-1 last season and Stamkos was the only reason they won even a single game. The goaltending responsibilities have been given to a pair of unproven no-names and look at the new players on the team: Some undrafted pygmy from the AHL, an over-the-hill d-man and Matt Carle who was -90 last season according to the Flyers fans.

The team also lacks toughness and financial know-how. BJ Crombeen is still working on his degree while Hurricanes and Panthers both have Princeton grads as their enforcers. SE Division title will be a fiercely fought contest between Panthers and Capitals.

Pffft. Anyone paying 17 cents for a game got screwed. I got my season tickets free with fill-up. Wasn't gonna take the deal, but Vinik called me and said he'd sweeten the deal with free Poutine delivered by a player every game.

I heard the giveaway next game is that Guy Boucher is gonna come explain some of the rules to us and the couple fans that show up. Coach, what's this offside thing again?

I'm surprised nobody has stopped our offense yet. It's pretty easy to dissect and thus stop. Each player is just product of a better player they have the good fortune of playing with. All you have to do is remove that player from the equation and their points will cease. Just follow this chart.

I love the self-irony by Bolts fans, good job!

I'd love to see Bolts play some of the top western teams with tight defense, should be a good game. Well, maybe in the SC finals we'll see that.

Main. No Florida team would have enough fans to carry their own forum.

After thorough research, I've discovered that this is indeed the main board, and a Bolts thread.
