I think Weber is the best defensemen in the World, but it's hard to go with him with 0 points this season. I'd say Chara based on the fact that Karlsson is getting pretty easy minutes and isn't producing at a considerably higher rate than Chara.

Although 32 min today was ridiculous.

edit: ^ seems to have posted just this. Power play time diminish his minutes even strength against top opposition... Either way, still pick Karlson over Chara personally.

You need to wait at least 40 games before looking at QoC. The stats are all out of whack right now.

Guarantee you Karlsson will be #1 by the end of the season or second to Methot by a hair.

I think frankly all 3 of them aren't playing that great so far (haven't seen Weber, but 0 points pretty much eliminates him from the vote IMO), but I think you have to go with Karlsson. He's controlling the game, but his "woops, what was I thinking!" plays are up this year relative to last year so, hopefully they all turn it up a bit.

I wonder how Pietrangelo's doing. Haven't seen him this year either, but he's putting up points and you have to think he's probably played well defensively...

Weber is one of my favorite players in the league, but Karlsson.

To me AP has been the best damn in league so far this year as he keeps getting better...As to the question I a going to go with Karlsson even though all 3 are of to starts that I was not expecting however I am confident at the end of year Karlsson will have been the best of the 3.

Pietrangelo>Weber>Chara>Karlsson

Karlsson is a completely different kind of player though, he's not a shutdown guy like the other 2

Of the players in the poll, I think Karlsson is playing the best at the moment.

EK. It's almost unbelievable, but he's actually better than last year.

Right now it's between Karlsson and Pietrangelo.
In the long run I do believe Chara proved he's the best

Karlsson last year.

Karlsson so far this year.

Karlsson for the future(i'm predicting as he is soooo much younger then the rest and is still getting better)

Hopefully i won't have to see more karlsson vs chara/weber for much too longer.

FYI, This is the sort of polls that can pump up your ego about Karlsson. The more of these polls there are, the better it is for you
