Is Hossa the best 2 way winger today?

I say yes, then Parise, Perry, MSL, Ericsson and Gaborik under him

Poll options are terrible, he shouldn't rank in the top 20 two way forwards even...

Yes imo. His PK of the Canucks 5-on-3 vs the Hawks was just humiliating.

I've noticed a significant decline in his defensive play since being traded to the Sharks, though.

Jonathan Ericsson is a defenseman.

Anyway, IMO, Hossa and Loui Eriksson are the two best two-way wingers in the NHL.

Yes, he's incredible. Strong, fast, supremely skilled and has the hockey IQ to compliment all these things in every single zone.

just today?

he's been the best 2-way winger for the past decade, and continues to be so for the foreseeable future.

people were dogging him before too. After he moved from Detroit down. Hossa's one of the more complete players in the league. The guy plays in every situation.

No doubt! I think he's been shunned of the Selke due to injuries but he deserves one.

This guy is such an unbelievable hockey player. He's the definition of a complete hockey player. He's unstoppable on the boards, has the skill to undress players and score, and plays Selke-caliber defense from the forward position.

I think he is in the Top 5. Why I say this is because I think Hossa is having a good run but is going to slow down. He had me really nervous yesterday same with Saad. But if he can keep it up I say Hossa is the best this season. Just overrated at the moment but still a good player.

Another awful poll by Puckgenius. My favorite part was how the first and last options are exactly the same.

To answer the question though, Hossa is definitely a top five two way winger today. Not sure if he's the best, but he's damn good.

The way I took it was the first option was if he were the best winger, while the last option was if he is the best two-way player period(i.e. over Datsyuk, etc...)

The only time I've ever seen a player single-handedly kill a 5-on-3.

He is the best two-way wing in the game since his trade to Detroit, maybe since his Hart trophy caliber season in Atlanta.

It's down to Loui Eriksson and Hossa for me, I'd give Hossa the slight advantage.

I mean, were talking best two way wingers here. And even if we were talking about forwards, Hossa is easily in the top 20.
