Looks like Kane is a fan, how times have changed.
Lou and Kane had a little chuckle together after Kane's shootout attempt.

And Daniel remarked how much he thought Keith was a good guy despite their incident.

I think most of the guys do like and respect each other. It's just a few, like Burrows, Bolland, Kesler, etc who really ramp the rivalry up.

Not sure if I should be surprised that Daniel said that... but the guy just elbowed you to the head with the clear intention to injure... Why?

And yeah I agree, that's definitely how most rivalries are, can also add Bieksa there.

I thought they were an above-average team that hides his faults as a goalie in decline.

Please don't tell me that all that time reading 5,329 Luongo trade threads was for nothing.

And ironically I think Kesler and Kane are good friends as well.

Have to good to be lucky, and lucky to be good.

I can't believe how you guys want to trade this guy, he's been stellar. Trade Schneider and they'll be no more pressure on Lu.
Kidding me? There would still be pressure on Luongo, if not more to keep up his current play, if Schneider was traded. There would be pressure for him to play good every night. There will always be pressure, it won't go away if Schneider was ever traded.

Doesn't help we don't have a second line right now. We've just been playing it safe by the looks of things.

Luongo is holding his glove out wider this year than in the past two years. Historically, he's kept his glove hand tight to the body which made him prone to the high glove shots. It's helped tons so far this year, his glove finally looks back to the elite level it was at during the 06 season.

The Canucks need Kesler back bad

Yes we need more of them, especially on the Canucks board.

He's also seemed to have stopped with flopping on his belly to try and make a save. He did it tonight when Kane scored, but other then that, haven't really seen it. In good enough position to make a save, rather then always flopping onto his stomach and hoping he'll save it.

Damn it guys, you're making it really hard for me to hate Chicago.

Lu improved the glove and bellyflop last season. It's just hard to shake those perceptions quickly

Luongo was fantastic. He always has been.

A few rough playoff games and everyone thinks he's no longer an elite goalie.

I have no issue seeing past my natural bias and realizing how good he is. Seems like a great personality too, that doesn't hurt.

I think he's still elite, but his playoff woes just scare me too much.

My utter hatred has tailed off though.

He's never started a season like this. Those times he finished hgih in vezina voting his stats were actually brought down by very weak starts.

Be interesting to see how he does with a fast start.
