I don't think Wolski will make it to the top 6, he deserves to be a third or fourth liner. Hendricks is a 4th liner and has about the same goals as Wolski.

Yeah but Wolski has nothing in his game that is useful on a 3rd or 4th line unless that line is a 3rd scoring line or a 4th line that is a collection of specialists that doesn't get much actual ice time as a line.

He could do well with Hendy on the 4th line. They were roommates in Colorado. We would have to get rid of Fehr or Crabb though.

Fehr is a hound on the forecheck and has a good enough shot to pot some goals that result from the pressure that line can produce. He has proven he can score goals in the NHL while getting limited ice time also.

I haven't watched Crabb enough to really know what he brings to the table and I don't want to cloud my opinion of him too much at this point from just what I have seen on this team.

I've watched Wolski a decent amount over the years. He has to play on a scoring line but doesn't do anything particularly well but does a few things well enough that he can play a complimentary role on that kind of line. If after Laich comes back they went with a 3rd scoring line of Wolski-Johansson-Fehr that might work IMO.

Wolski seems to be developing some nice chemistry with Ribeiro, I'd rather keep them together. I think he, along with Ovie, Laich, and Ward round out our top 6 wingers once Laich's healthy. Of course, with the amount of line shuffling going on, this is a pretty pointless exercise.
