Its not unusual for Russian fans to have very little information about U16 players from around Russia. Russian media, including specialized hockey websites, give very little publicity to players at very young age groups. A lot of these kids have very little experience in organized hockey compared to Canadian kids. Names start to become familiar at the U17 level, when kids start to play with organized, structured teams. I hope some other poster can give you more information.

I think there are two big names for 97 year in Russia: Kashtanov and Tyanulin. Experts are very high on them. There is also a group of prospects, including Zhebelev, Byakin etc. who have high potential.
