Kijhl question

Question about playing in the KI, also not sure if this is in the right forum but, I heard somewhere that if you are under 18, you cannot play in the league as an import, just wanted to know if there was any truth to this or not?

I'd assume you could play. However, if you still able to play midget hockey it would be a better idea to finish playing midget before thinking about moving away from home to play jr B. I've seen far too many 16 and 17 year olds that think going right up to jr B is the best option for them, and they spend the whole season playing 5 minutes per game or as a healthy scratch and don't improve at all. Plus, most teams won't want to have to arrange a billet for someone who isn't a top player, when they can just get a local kid to fill the same spot.

tl;dr- finishing playing midget before trying to play jr b.
