Really, REALLY need to address that. Whether it's by trading one of Potter, Peckham, or Whitney for a decent bottom pairing guy who can move the puck, signing a UFA (Campoli couldn't hurt), or by bringing Brett Clark up on an NHL contract, they can't afford for one of their lowest minute d-men to cost them constant chances against.

Reminds me of '05-'06 with Ulanov and Cross back there. At least we have Fistric, but...man oh man, the other two suck a lot.
Trading for an upgrade would be nice, but I have my doubts we will until Peckham has had a chance.

I'm fine with waiting for a while, but if Whitney keeps this run of form up, trading him for an upgrade has to be considered.

I didn't say they we're bad.

I'm also talking about how he gets his goals, its hard to explain but he always seems to be in the right area. Its an offensive awareness that in my opinion is incredible. Its something that you can't really teach somebody.

Oh and it has to be said, I'm really impressed with Harti's ability down low. Really strong in that department, which is important considering how much we lacked that sort of presence last season.

Gagner has not looked very good today. He needs to get his head up and move the puck quicker.

Moving without the puck is hard to teach, I agree.

Gagner needs to stop doing that. I was at the Sharks game and he did that twice. Get the puck out. Don't go back and then give up the puck.

We honestly got to stop these defensive zone give-aways. Do we already forget what happened in San Jose?!

I've only seen a handful of players that have that ability. He is the scorer we've been waiting for
he has the same gift you had? that's one heck of a gift. so just to be curious, how far did you get in hockey, since you had "the gift"?

I've seen Hemsky pass the puck to Yakupov at least.... 4 times. Not possible.

Played southside for a bit but ultimately went back to seera because I wasn't really enjoying playing hockey seriously.

your mocking comment aside, the "gift" i've explained was a couple posts up. feel free to read it.

Did Whitney just skate into the boards on his own and lose the puck?
