Because both teams forgot a game started. Why are you freaking out over what's clearly an anomaly?

It's hilarious that they are so proud of going 4 games without allowing a goal in the first period.

Haven't decided yet if those Toyota and Enterprise rent-a-car ads are more irritating than the Subway ones on Sportsnet last year.

Team has played flat, boring hockey for the vast majority of the first part of this season. I am getting concerned. This feels too much like last year.

It's called analyzing, mate. It is not whining to point out why the team is playing poorly.

Lol we aren't even 10 games in. Slippery slope fallacy, we have no second line for Christs sake. We're not going to have exciting hockey til we have one.

Bieksa/Garrison playing lousy I think has a lot to do with the layoff. Neither played during the lockout and they're just getting up to speed.

I'm sorry.. I just really have a feeling this team lost it's soul/identity in that cup final. I love this team and it's players, but the hockey has been so uninspiring for over a year now.

I'm really wondering what's going to happen to this team if/when Lu gets traded. It's just going to be weird. I wonder who the other players want to stay.

The Oilers arena announcer sounds like he's 80 years old.

The Oilers suck at faceoffs. What else is there to read.

Wow, lost its soul/identity? Are you serious? We've had terrible injury luck since the Final with Kesler never really recovering, as well as Booth and Higgins last year as well. We've all seen how our dominance in the regular season has ground down the team.

These are grown men, not disheartened unicorns. They want to win just as badly as they did before the cup run. To assume otherwise is just ridiculous.

We'll see what happens when kes and, to a lesser extent, booth are back. If it keeps up its called staled coach syndrome
