Who do you consider Crosby's greatest current RIVAL?

With Ovechkin seemingly on the decline who would you consider Crosby's biggest RIVAL currently?

Anyways, Malkin and Stamkos are the ones that are near his level. Giroux if he can show that last season wasn't a fluke is a small step down from the aforementioned two, but since he's a Flyer it ups the "rivalry" thing.

The others I don't see as rivals.

I think Malkin's biggest rivals are Stamkos and Healthy Crosby.

Crosby being the outside player with shot being the best but has not been for a while.

Giroux

They actually shown that they hate each other in the playoff last year. It's not a rivalry created by the media like the Ovechkin rivalry. Plus it's Penguins captain vs. Flyers captain.

I don't think he really has a 'rival', the media just makes this **** up.

If you're talking arch nemisis type rivalry Giroux for sure.

If you're talking rival for most dominate player in the game. Malkin.

IMO it'll always be Ovechkin. Not because they hate each other, just because they've been judged against the other's performance from day one.

Giroux but the media brigade will keep trying to make it Ovechkin.

After the beating Philly put on Pitt in last year's playoffs, especially considering Giroux's integral role, I would think Giroux would be his main rival at this point

On another team? Giroux.

On the level he's playing? Only Malkin.

Having the two best players in the world surely must be exciting...

Malkin. Both are easily number 1 and 2 in the NHL and they both try to outplay the other. I doubt Crosby cares much for Ovechkin anymore.
