Landeskog/Couturier... I think that Kassian is more a complementary player and not really one who you would build your team around.

I'd rank them

RNH

Couturier/ Landeskog

Kassian

so I would take the Couturier/ Landeskog duo

In my opinion these are my projections for these players...

RNH - A legit #1 centerman. Is capable of, and probably will, hit the ~90 point mark multiple times in his career.

Landeskog - A legit #1 two-way LW. I see him as a guy who will put up ~70 points in his prime while providing good defense.

Couturier - A #2 centerman. Will provide good two-way play and will be in the mold of a guy like Pavelski. I'd say around 60 points will be where he's at.

Kassian - A good #2 powerforward RW. While unable to carry a line on his own, he'll be an excellent support player. I see him as a Hartnell type player: a guy versatile enough to play on any line, smart enough to play with high end talent, and his point production will fluctuate greatly depending on who he is playing with.

For me, I'd say RNH/Kassian. RNH is undoubtably the best player of the group, and players of his calibur are rare. I'd take a #1C and a #2W over a #2C and #1W any day. Plus, if Kassian and RNH develop chemistry, watch out.

Good question. RNH is no question the best. But if your building a team around them you might want two 2 way forwards. Also with Landeskog you get the physical game.

RNH
Landy/Couturier

Kassian

Ill have to take Landeskog and Couturier

The difference between RNH and Landeskog is not nearly enough to make up for the difference between Couturier and Kassian.

RNH
Landeskog

Couturier

Kassian

Continuing my streak of voting Landeskog whenever possible, but this is really close to me, because while I do consider Landeskog the best player here, IŽd rather start building my team around a first line center than a winger and the only one available here is RNH.

Landeskog/Couturier. Kassian is more of a support player, he is not really on the same level as the other 3.

In this thread: people think RNH is better than Landeskrog. (hint: right now, he's not)

Always go for the first line centre and in that case it is RNH, Kassian is a support player that scares other teams and keeps them honest as well, exactly the type of guy you need to keep your number 1 centre safe.

So yah I voted RNH and Kassian because RNH is the only player on that list you build a franchise around.

Couturier will be the best player from either the 2011 or 2012 draft.

Anyone who's a fan of hockey could tell you that Landeskog is a better player than Kassian. It's closer than most would think, though.

2nd duo for me.

RNH
Landeskog
Couturier
Kassian

So Couturier-Landeskog

But I'd much rather have RNH and Landeskog.

I'd say there's two franchise-like guys in RNH and Landeskog, a core piece in Sean, and a good supporting player in Kassian.

I'll take Couts and Landy

Couts and Landy. I'd rank them:

RNH/Landy

Coutorier

Kassian

IF Kassian can develop into a Bertuzzi-esque player, though Kassian has better hands (?), then I'd take RNH with him. RNH I could see hitting 100 points a couple of times, but likely an 80-95 range most of his career. Kassian, could probably hit 80+ with regularity, it depends on his linemates imo.

I'd take Kassian over Couturier. I never understood the Couturier love on this site.

Even as an Avs fan I feel Nuge is better right now, mostly because one is playing while the other isn't... actually entirely why.

That said I'd take Landy/Cout pretty easily. When everyone is playing to there ability Landy and Nuge are equal, or at least very close, while Couts is in a different league from Kassian.
