This is why Markov/Diaz works, it's because Markov is accurate and Diaz knows that and allows the play to develop naturally. They don't constantly force the same shot from the point and that means the goalie has to be constantly adjusting. With Subban as the only option the goalie knows exactly where to be.

The officiating today is beyond a joke.

Eller gets roughing for for grabbinga guy in a scrum but Ottawa constantly gets away with punches in scrums. Like Methotte on the 4 on 3.

The call on Bouillon is mind blowing. How can you embellish somebody having his stick between your legs and hauling you down?

Gotta luv Galchenyuk. Smart hockey wise decisions and so calm play.

They've been rotating since Spezza went down. Karlsson had it last game, Gonchar and Neil will probably get it soon too.

I'm loving Prices new mask. I'd like to see him stick with that design for the entire season. It looks good from a distance as well as up close.

Agreed. Markov and Diaz should be back together. Subbans point shot is ****. Plain and simple.

Yeah exactly..........why doesnt Subban fake the goalie out once in awhile and pass off. I thought he had more hockey sense than that.

This game has no pulse. I don't know if it's because of the refs or whatever. But last game against the Sens had a lot of emotion and this one feels like a Jacques Martin game.

Pleks might just be one of the better neutral ice players in the game, especially shorthanded.

Here they go talking about Montreals "small" team again. So sick of CBC. Stock is putrid.

Yeah Anderson is just beastly. Possibly the best goalie in the NHL so far this season

Sometimes that shot goes in but it's predictable and often inaccurate.

I disagree. The last game had one period and a half that were good. I actually like this game up until the last few minutes of the 2nd when ref's took over..
