Rangers/Sharks (minor)

So I read that John Ferguson Jr. has been scouting Rangers games recently. It could be nothing or it could mean something.

Anyway, playing off of that, I figured I would create some sort of proposal, minor as it may be:

Sharks get:

G Jason Missiaen
D Steve Eminger

Rangers get:

G Harri Sateri

Sharks need some depth with some players, like Brent Burns, being out

Yawns are welcome

We need Eminger. He's our best option for 6D even though Torts keeps dressing Bickel and Gilroy over him.

The only way the Rangers trade Eminger is for an upgrade at the same position.

With Torts love affair for Bickel and with us having Gilroy, Eminger becomes expendable

It's truly mind boggling.

Personally, I would rather have Gilroy over Eminger

If Gilroy keeps playing like he did last night, I agree. Would still rather keep Eminger as the 7th though. I'm willing to send Bickel to SJ if they're willing to FedEx me some good Mexican food.

You and me both. I would rather have Eminger than Bickel, but Torts loves Bickel so I figured Eminger would be expendable.

Sharks don't need defensemen.

Sharks have 8 NHL caliber defensemen, don't need more.

How has Demers played? What about Braun?

What proposals do you guys have (like I said, it might not amount to anything, but just for fun), seeing as how Ferguson was scouting us?

Demers has only played in 1 game and was fine and Braun has been doing very well. If anything, we're looking to deal a defenseman for a forward.

I'd love to bring in Murray but don't see a fair forward swap. Either the forwards we have are too good to be sent one for one, or too bad. Don't think Rupp+3rd would be of much interest.

DW seems adamant on trading Couture for Nash.

But seriously, unless the Rangers are interested in a Clowe/Murray package for Hagelin, I doubt the Sharks would do anything. Not ideal partners.

What about getting your boy (given your username) Brent Burns when he comes back from injury?

Not to sound snarky because I'm sure you guys feel the same way with Del Zotto, but there's not a player on the Rangers roster that I would trade Burns for.

Just give us a pick and some B- or C prospect.

Replace Del Zotto with McDonagh and yeah. Would absolutely trade MDZ for Couture

At this point, you can have him for whatever you have in your pocket.

Definitely could see the Rangers being interested in Murray. Need a stay at home guy for the bottom pairing. Not at the expense of Hagelin though.

I still think, if not NYR, there are at least a few teams on the East Coast that would appreciate his physicality, and the East Coast is generally slower in terms of play style, so I think Murray would get exposed and undressed less often.

With the way that Murray's been playing, gonna have to shoot a lot lower than Hagelin, but I would like to have Murray on the Rangers on the 3rd pairing.

We need some scoring depth, so I am guessing he was scouting Hagelin.
