Essential to have had a good start with the short season and the early home game bias in the schedule. With 12 of the first 17 on home ice, the Habs really need to be above .600 in these games. 6-2 with all wins in regulation is about all one can ask for at this point.
As a habs fan it's embarrassing. Obviously we're biased towards the Habs so how can habs fans as a whole be counted to objectively choose the 3 stars? It just devalues the who 3 stars notion.
Give me a break.
You think local stations really care about who gets picked 3 stars in Montreal? You think opposing fans really care? They probably don't even know.
RDS doesn't care when Montreal is on the road, RDS picks their own stars. RDS only films the three stars when it's Montreal.
The players don't even care. 3 stars is just a gimmick that has no merit what so ever.
I love Pacioretty's willingness to return to the game, but returning only 7 days after invasive surgery is ridiculous. Let it heal, this isn't the playoffs.
Not sure why WE should feel bad about the call...we didn't call it. Refs did. I believe they should be fine for having such a bad game. So THEY should feel bad....And it's not like we have against that call we ALL think it was bogus. Price usually embellishes contacts...he didn't even try to embellish that one meaning it wasn't a penalty.
Habs were at their 2nd game in 2 nights after a not so long ago 3 games in 4 days. Sens didn't have Gonchar not Spezza. Sens are a good team, so are we.
I see a lot of people talking about some dissallowed goal, but I didn't even see that. I missed the first 53 seconds of the second period and the first 1:30 of the third period... I guess that's when it happened?!
remember the Prust goal that was cancelled against the leafs? That's the same habs get screwed a lot by the refs in the league for once we have a good bounce i won't feel even a bit of guilt about it.
We deserved more the win the than sens for sure Anderson bails them out wayyy too much.
anderson played incredible, again. the guy makes 4-5 insane saves a game. I wonder if he can keep up this play, but he's been like this since florida. just maybe not as high for so long.
Gionta is really disappointing me, he doesn't fit in at all with the new mold of the on-ice product if you ask me.
Offensively he's a shell of what he used to be but when it comes to two way play and possession he's making a difference. The Plekanec line outplays their opposition almost every shift and while Plekanec is the best player on that line, Gionta plays a part of it.
I dont care what anyone says but that Karlsson kid...........but oh my would I love for him to be a hab.
But he's so sofff...

Indeed, he gives incredible two way play to this team. But damn all those shot from over the circle are bad....For the moment he's playing okay. He just needs to get it going with his damn shots...
Refs are horrible, but we don't have to have any sorrow about Ott waived off goal, they had their shares of lucky calls this weeks against the Habs ie. White and Plek!
