Can't wait to see Geno Smith throw passes to Braylon Edwards and company.

Mark Crapchez can go pound sand elsewhere...

giants fan here. watching the skins last year amazed me. truly was impressive how they could run that style of offense. The young rookie half back was a beast too which helped. Shouldnt even have to mention RG3.

As for my team, i hope that when they start the season 6-2, they wont fizzle out and have to fight for a spot that they more then likely wont get. I also hope eli stops being afraid of taking a hit and holds onto the ball instead of forcing a throw and turning it over. I hope cruz stays the same and i hope nicks will be able to stay healthy because when we have both him and victor on the feild, its a nightmare for defenses. also hope our sophmore, wilson, will show us why he was a first rounder. We saw glimpses of his skill last year(like in the game where he returned a kickoff, rushed for 100+ yards and scored 3 TDs) and i hope he continues to impress and improve. Lets Go GIANTS!!!

Geno smith is the kind of qb that sucks in the nfl. Lights up college, then is in for a rude awakening in the league. (Tebow)

I'm hoping the Bears don't struggle too much with the new coach and all. It's going to be weird without Urlacher in the lineup.

We don't know that yet. He could be Tebow/Akili Smith or he could be Russel Wilson/RG3/Kaepernick. He hasn't even played a preseason snap.

And even if he's going to be good, the Jets have next to no running game and their entire passing game hinges on two guys who are one wrong step away from being on IR (Braylon/Winslow) with Holmes counting his money on IR.

That's true. But let's look at it this way :

Can Geno be any WORSE than Mark Sanchez? I mean come on now...

Also, *ANY* NFL player is "one wrong step away from being on the IR". Football is a violent sport after all.

That remains to be seen since, as it was appropriately pointed out, he hasn't even played a preseason game yet.

So any assumptions I may have(or anyone for that matter), are a bit premature.

They had a worse QB than Sanchez on the roster last year lol...and you know what I'm referring to vis-a-vis Edwards and Winslow. Winslow hasn't played meaningful football in two years and Edwards hasn't been a healthy contributor since leaving the Jets. We're not exactly talking about Brett Favre-like durability or AP-like healing powers here with either guy.

Geno Smith is a bum. He didn't even tear it up in college. He put up inflated stats on a team that paid no attention to defense and played an offensive happy game. And he was only good for half a year every year.

I don't like the idea of Clowney being a Jet. He would have been the #1 overall pick this year if he was eligible, and he would have been top 5 the year prior. The kid is an absolute monster. I remember reading about him when he was the nation's undisputed #1 high school recruit. Kid is like 6'5 and runs a 4.4. Unreal.

I expect the 9ers to struggle out the gate and rebound towards the end and be a wildcard team.

Injuries are kicking our ass so far this yr. Willis and Bowman won't see a snap until week 1...i say we really don't gel and kick into gear until week 6

I fully expect the Packers to take the NFC North once again. Division will improved but if the running game is as improved as I think it will be and we don't get annihilated by injuries on defense again then we should be top 4 team in conference. I have a feeling there going to blow the doors off of the 9ers in week 1.

From a talent perspective, the Jets are probably the worst team in the league.

I don't think the Jets are going to be that great but I don't think they're going to be nearly as bad as some of you, especially now that the Tebow circus has left town. They'll have a good defense with Rex, a young, dynamic d-line and Cro leading the corners. They don't have much talent offensively - though it's marginally better than last year - but at least they have a much better o-coordinator (Morninghweg) than Sparanoh-no.

There relying on Braylon Edwards, Kellen Winslow, Chris Ivory, and Stephen Hill to produce. I can't see that offense doing much of anything. I have no clue what Holmes' status is.

Considering Culliever is done for the year. Willis and Bowman will be taking the field for the first time this year...yeah if you don't beat us you should be worried.

And last year the talent wasn't even 'that' good on offense. I'm no Sanchez fan but the guy basically had Rutgers' personnel around him last year and a horrid offensive coach. There is still a small chance he could be Alex Smith - another guy who was a bum, a bust where he was and then suddenly turned it around when he got coaching and some more talent around him. Of course Rex ain't Harbaugh, but hopefully Morninghweg provides the coaching that can help Sanchez revive his career.

I'm not a huge believer in Geno either, the Jets had to take him where he was but maybe everyone'll get their wish by Week 5 and we'll find out whether he's the next great athletic QB olr a pretender to the throne.
