Gotta say I actually respect Gorges for not shying away from going with McClaren.

Ahh the leafs are still panzies. Take away their two goons and they are as soft as butter. All you need to do when you play them is bring up two other goons to neutralize theirs, and you can run them all night. BTW Gionta showed more guts than Captain Dion Neon ever did lol.

Nobody whines like the Habs. I'm sure they'll want to call in the police to investigate this one, too.

Bourque came out of the back and side and Orr just reacted- and correctly.

We can never have 70's and 80's hockey back but this was pretty good
Actually, watch the vid/gif. When Gionta came he obviously went after gionta thinking gionta was there in defense. Right before bourque steps in, orr drops the gloves KNOWING it's gionta. I don't think he cared who it was.

I didn't realize Mclaren was actually 6'5 250lbs. What a monster. Gorges has fight in him despite having absolutely no idea how to fight.

White was only mistaken for a goon by bruins fans, no offense. He's pretty much an energy player who has decent fighting skills. That being said, he's been trying too hard lately and he is much more effective when he plays an honest game.

I also doubt habs get a goon.

It's already begun. I've called 5-6 times this morning alone.

He didn't "kick his ass" at all --he held up on Georges completely. If MacLaren really wanted to, he could have KO'd Georges. If you watch the "fight" it is apparent that he isn't looking to do any sort of damage --even hold his own hand down by his hip for a part of the "fight".

Habs fans are livid with the Toronto "goons" but Frazer held up and could have ended their captain's season (or a few months) if he really wanted to.

It must feel really weird for the Tronno fans to have all of us backing them up so much all of a sudden. I am laughing like a hyena here at the internet cafè just reading all the Bruins`fans comments in the thread on the main page.

It`s a bizarro world scenario...

This post is so tasty. I agree 100% with the bolded parts.

Montreal bite off way more than they could chew last night and Toronto held back. It could of been really bad for Montreal.

I hope the name of the goon is Zack Stortini. Orr will have a field day with that plug.

Gorges and gallagher are golden Imo. Prust needed to wait until he could atleast go with one of the big guys. He really did his team a disservice. Moen is the most disappointing. Watched gionta get destroyed on the boards and did nothing. He needed to jump in there.

I think he's great on twitter. He's been able to poke fun at himself during this whole goalie mess in Vancouver, and he clearly doesn't take himself that seriously.

I find it hard to dislike the guy anymore.

4 PM hearing for Mikhail Grabovski after the biting incident with Max Pacioretty.
The Shannahan wheel of justice is spinning.

I dunno....any video I've seen, it's hard to tell conclusively if Grabovski is biting Pacioretty. MaxPac's arm is shoved in there and there's a lot of movement. I dunno if one can 'accidentally' bite someone or not, and I don't wanna have anyone demonstrate on me to find out.
