Are the Rangers scared of the Devils?

The Nash trade was a reaction to add more firepower to counterattack the Devils forecheck, but in the process has the Rangers fear of New Jersey weakened their team?

They still lack a solid 3rd pairing on d and outside of their first line a lot of depth has been eroded.

The Flyers made the Finals with a 3rd D pairing of Krajicek and Bartulis. If the Rangers top 4 d-men can step up their game, they'll be able to make up for what they lack in their bottom pairing.

Or maybe they were just trying to get better

I would seriously consider revising your hypothesis here.

No, and they were most likely trying to improve their team.

Our offense was the downfall all season. The rangers would have liked to bring in Nash before the playoffs but the price was absurd.

We got really lucky in the playoffs with how Kreider stepped in and gave us offense. Without him we probably don't get past the first round, let alone Washington. Nash was a though from the beginning of last year. It has nothing to do with the devils.

Who are you a fan of? Because as much as i hate the devils, most of there fans are pretty knowledgeable when it comes to the Rangers.

What... The Rangers had trouble scoring against most teams last year... Not just the Devils. Getting Rick Nash had nothing to do with the Devils lol.
