Hey guys, I know the lines are going to be scrambled a bit with all that's going on in Isles country. I will update like always when I have more information.

Ill be there tonight lets go boys need a good bounce back game. I hope Boyes lights it up on line 1 so they stay with him up on line 1 instead of KO. Leave KO on line 2-3 where he belongs. He can't play against other teams top defensive pairings. 5-3 isles tonight
Big game for the Isles...I hope we can stay over .500 all season so I'm really hoping we can pull off back to back wins here against the Pens and Rags. Not gonna be easy though.
Not a chance Sheerio is going to let the Penguins come out flat like they did last time against us.
Thus, I could see this being a tough one for the Islanders. However, this will also test the metal of this coaching staff. They need to get this team back on track after a tough loss on Sunday afternoon.
I watched the Isles/Devils game (3-0 loss) over again yesterday and I have to say the Islanders didn't play as bad as I had thought immediately after the game. I think that horrible penalty call made me lose sight of all that had happened previously.
Until that call the game was very close. Islanders had tons of chances, and that is in addition to the powerplays, but they just couldn't score. The effort was there but I have to give a lot of credit to the Devils defense, especially Hedburg. I will say that the Islanders were just a step or two off in that game, a lot of passes just missed the intended target, it seemed to take them a while to get their feet moving, and many of there shots either missed or were blocked.
I expect both teams to be playing fast and physical tonight.
Final score will be 5-4, the deciding goal in overtime. Could go either way, but I'm thinking Pens with the win, hoping for the Isles (obviously).
I think it's interesting that the Islanders as a team are +1 on the season, but there is not one individual player with a plus, all zero are -
And yeah, Ullstrom has earned more time than he has been getting.
Yep, the specialty teams have been carrying us. We have scored 9 PP goals and only allowed 2 goals on PK so we are actually not +1 but a -6 as a team. But yes, I saw that yesterday and was surprised we didnt have at least one plus. Just shows we have not been good at ES (we also have 1 SH goal, Grabner's empty netter, so we are actually -7 ES)

That last game was a tough way to go down without even a point, but it's nothing these boys didn't deserve. You HAVE to convert with all of the chances they were provided. Five on five really needs to show improvement as well.
This schedule is so grueling! It's a tough division to compete in the first place, let alone playing in the division almost every game! I'm ready for this stretch to end.
This team is competing game after game. There's something different than the previous years and I like it.
