@StapeNewsday

Nabokov will be in #Isles goal again tonight. Colin McDonald back in after 2-gm suspension, Boulton out. Same D as Sunday.

Nabby in net? 4-3 Islanders win in regulation. Make it 5-3 with the empty net goal.

Nabby in net and Collin McDonald in the lineup...could get pretty physical with McDonald in lineup after what happened

Love joy wasn't hurt on the play, so I'm not sure we'll see much in the way of retaliation.

Gotta bury their chances tonight. Any loss is bad enough, but a loss at the hands of these SOB's is even worse. Get 2 points in regulation!

Will this mean DP will get the nod in MSG? He's got to play sometime soon I imagine. I don't know what I would prefer. Two difficult games this week we got to win at least one to stay in the hunt.

I doubt DP plays the Rags. Probably the Sabres game.

There are 6 remaining back to back games. DP will play 6 more times. Expect, barring injury, Nabby will play every other game. As he should.

I like that 8-2 prediction. LETS GO ISLANDERS.

I'll be watching from a bar because I don't have cable until NEXT Wednesday. Urgh.
Over a week to get cable? That is brutal.

As much as I dont want to say it, I have a bad feeling that the Pens will absolutely tear us apart tonight. I could see both Crosby and Malkin getting 3 points a piece.

Pens - 5
Isles - 2 (1 very late goal)

this...i don't see the point of a retaliation when 1. lovejoy didn't get injured on the play and 2. the offending player was punished with a penalties and a suspension. also, the pens know the isles hurt them on the powerplay last game and they have one of the hottest pp units in the league right now.
really doesn't make sense for pitt.

Yes!! Fleury is in! Hes terrible. I was pissed when I found out we were playing Hedberg instead of Marty the other night. At least this is in our favor. Vokoun kills us.

I could see Adams or Cooke trying to fight McDonald, but I doubt much will come of it.

I'm also glad not to see Vokoun in tonight. The guy usually gives up only 1 or 2 goals when he plays the Isles.

I doubt it. I don't think the hit was that bad and Colin McDonald's not really that kind of player.

I just hope the Isles play well. The Pens, if their two boys come out and play the way they can (or anywhere close) will run over the Islanders.

Isles need to stay out of the box, that PK number is not going to last all year! If they can limit turnovers they can take advantage of a Pens team that simply isn't that deep. But they are playing well.

I think they'll have Kunitz and Dupuis back with Sid and Geno with Boychuk and Neal. Let's not wake those two giants. No fights tonight, keep emotions "LOW"

Big game tonight to continue to establish an identity. Consistancy is what this team has lacked the past few years. If they can keep up the same style of play they have had the past 4 or 5 games I think it is a good sign.

I see a good game with the isles prevailing. I think Flurey being between the pipes helps the Isles.

Let's go boys, 2 big points out there to get!

Trying to remain optimistic. We are abysmal 5-5, and our fat slob top line RW would rather eat donuts and smoke cigarettes, so we're still down 1 player in our top 6.

Fluery has beaten us many times, how quickly we forget it.

I want to say we'll win, but IDK. Pens on a 3 game winning streak, and I doubt many see the Isles as the team to stop it IMHO.

It will take a gutsy, 60 minute effort of that I have no doubt. 4-3 becomes 4-4 and you might as well start looking at Jones. 4-3 becomes 5-3 and then you go into MSG with some confidence. Huge swing.

I think they were projecting him to come back Thursday at MSG.
