Thats one aspect i wish the Pens were more lax in. Stop looking at the officials and yappin' off to them. We seen players and DB do it in that period and it results in a ticky tack call against us. Thats just how some refs work.

Stay out of the box. We were playing well until the penalties against us. Shots ended up lopsided for the Isles.

Pens need to start flopping to the ice everytime an Islander gets within 5 feet

they're not fast enough to recuperate from those dives, though, and they most likely won't get called.

I've been critical, so I'm going to be fair and pass a compliment now: I'm seeing a different breakout for the Pens, at least for Malkin's line. You've got him looping back a lot and players, especially Malkin, coming through the neutral zone with speed. Looks a lot like what the Red Wings do, and Malkin's line has been entering the zone a lot with the puck and with little dumping required.

MacDonald wasn't really engaged with Glass because he was being a wuss. It would be hard to get the third man in for that.

Never realized he was such a good skater. I was expecting a more lumbering player considering his other qualities.

Considering McDonald was never involved in a fight, no.

He was too busy crying for his daddy to save him.

Yeah, seeing the replay you could tell Rinaldo hit him late.

Yeah just saw the Rinaldo fight. Good on him for beating up Crombeen, a tough customer, but wow, what an absolute piece of trash for laying in to him on the ground.

Such a worthless piece of scum, cannot wait until someone puts him out of commission.

On topic... Bortuzzo rocks. Love him sticking up for our boys like that and his play has been rock solid.

I think Bylsma was arguing that point but the refs were saying that McDonald never actually engaged Glass so the altercation had not technically "started" before Martin stepped in. Close, but no cigar there. Would be good if we had of got him tossed.
