Potash is kind of a dork but he's clearly a good sport / has a good attitude, considering the abuse he takes.

"Dude you're sittin' too close to Potash!" was my favorite until Vitale started ice-blasting him during every pregame.

Just said to my friend Errey remebers one thing, to keep things fun.

Way to many serious Hockey analysts.

I like Errey. Steigy irritates me. Potash is a goof.

But above all of this...why is Paul Alexander back on? Maybe I was just missing it, but I swear it had strictly Rob King up until this past week.

Paul Alexander makes me find Caufield somewhat tolerable. I don't think there is a worse representation of Pittsburgh Sports than Alexander - and I'm including Madden in that.

Alexander and Caufield together makes me wish ROOT would spend the intermissions showing Adams and Glass taking penalty shots.

Back on topic...since we just passed the Idea of March, that little speech about killing the Senators is one of my all time favorite Errey-isms.

I love Bob Errey. My always & forever favorite Bibsy story: several years ago we were walking outside Mellon Arena after a game & were right behind a guy wearing a vintage Errey jersey. We could hear some guy repeatedly yelling, "Hey, nice jersey! Nice jersey!" He just kept going on and on until finally we all turned and looked and it's Bob Errey hanging out the window of his SUV.

I wonder if using protein and polypeptide structures will stick.

I like him a lot and enjoy his goofy-ness. IMO his hockey smarts are pretty under rated and I don't know why he didn't get into coaching. He should have assisted in the A and worked his way up.

I'm not going to start a thread about it but does anyone else really like Weeks? IMO he's the best out there and he can talk in depth about the game without dumbing it down.

The day Gary Roberts was traded to the Pens. He didnt get to Pittsburgh in time to be in the line up that night but all game long Steigy & Errey were talking about his warrior mentality. Then this happened...

Might be slightly out of topic, but I have to make sure that one isn't forgotten :
Steigy : Chris Kunitz with the hat trick ! Everything he's touching is going in the net. That's his fourth career hat trick !
Errey : Yep, the scouts were wrong about Pascal Dupuis and Chris Kunits, weren't they ? Undrafted players playing with the best player in hockey, Come On !
Steigy : Kunitz was waived by the Ducks... the Atlanta Trashers picked him up... They waived him ! The Ducks got him back, the Penguins traded Ryan Whitney for him,
Ryan Whitney is now in Edmonton, and Chris Kunitz, is lightning it up in the National Hockey League, like no other winger is, at the moment.

Prepare for some notable quotes by Errey about Murray. My recollection is he has had a mild obsession with Mr Crankshaft.

I got a kick out of him getting so excited about Neal's quick release last game.

You can tell Errey enjoys every second of being a commentator.

If Dupuis doesn't re-sign, I would not be surprised to hear of Potash meeting an unspeakably grisly end the night that Pascal skips town.

Neal hates him almost as much as Dupuis does.
