We escaped that period, simple as that. Our powerplay is atrocious, simply ****ing dreadful. My ****ing god.

I think the coaching is in question but I think this group of players is also in question. Maybe this mix will bring us what they do with a garbage powerplay forever.

It should be cantered around Seguin but it seems he is unable to get open for shots and the players are too intent on "get it to the point, blast a shot, bang in a rebound". Coaching that ideal should get you fired though.

Actually if they poured a bucket of paint from the blue line and let it trickle to the net, it would probably get there before the puck does.

Let's pass it around to players in coverage, that'll work.

I wish we had a big forward who could crash the net and a defenseman who can shoot the puck 108 miles per hour. Man, would we be set up.

Not an inspiring first period at all. I can see us turning it around though.

I wonder if he is afraid of seriously injuring people and holds off on that? He is a bit of a gentle giant (although he loses it sometimes).

How great was Rask's positioning that period? Not once was out of position. What a great goalie!

How about a top 2 puck PMD? Call me crazy but I don't think other D really compliment Chara on PP.

0 for 2 tonight makes #Bruins 3 for 32 (9.4%) for season. And Julien will wonder why more questions are asked about it.[/QUO

please ask to clode 25 questions everyday about pp and force him to answer, enough is enough

As crappy as the period was it was nice to see Tuukka make some big saves to keep it 0-0.

Rask deserves a medal for that period by the way.

Spooner looks pretty damn good in my opinion. I had no idea he was so good on the boards. I'd rotate him into some shifts with Seguin and Bergeron in the 2nd period.

I swear, it's like the PP was told that they should think about where to pass, then look right there, then force it. If we can get into the zone and settle down with the puck (which we haven't done since Savard got hurt), we're ok. Bruins just lack the guy who looks off a defender and settles things down or reverses the flow to get the PK off balance.

From the way things are looking, it's like they want all 1-0 games this season. Win or loss doesn't seem to matter to them either from the disinterest of some of the players out there.

thought spooner looked good for the limited ice time he saw. Rask was great. And of course our PP was just plaine non existent .

The power play is a joke right now. Its such a simple concept but they make it look like their trying to solve a complex physics equation. They're making it more difficult than it needs to be. They need to create the right angles and get the puck to the net, no more trying to be fancy crap, keep it simple.

They need to take Z off that first PP. Take him off the PP altogether. It's nice to have that rocket back there sure but the man is so slow in his decision making and moving the puck...

The Powerplay coach should be fired Asap. What type of a sorry excuse is this powerplay. A powerplay is supposed too give you an advantage not a Disadvantage.

I'd love to but he is not playing ver well either.

I do think Julien needs to put the lines in a blender for a little while.
