He is a good goalie with an occasional great game. He should be paid slightly more than Pavelec, Ondrej got.

Cleary is such a great skater right? So we did he stop moving his legs and hold that Flame? Lazy.

Howard has started the season average, but he's far from the problem.

Kind of a bad night to go with the hyperbole considering he stopped a penalty shot.

I love how people expect Howard to never let in any goals ever.

Although I love Mike Illitch, I vow to never eat Lil' Ceazar's pizza ever again after having to see that "PIZZA TIME!" ad every god damn intermission.

Howard's contract negotiations are taking a beating. I know he hasn't been to blame, but it is going to be hard to hit the market and ask what I think he and his agent want to ask for if this keeps up.

After last year around this point right before the injury you could argue he was a difference maker and a true #1 5 million range. He isn't going to be able to say that with the way things are going. Also can't help but remember him in his last contract year, he hasn't been that bad but he is like the anti-Hudler in terms of how he plays in contract years versus without that on the table.

Considering how crappy our defense is, its a GOOD thing Howard hasn't looked stellar. If he looked great in front of this defense, he'd have a strong case for $5M+.

The Blues are getting bombed by Nashville at home, a little surprising.

No, he made an impact when he had two goals in his first two games and had 3 shotblocks on a 5-3. I'd take him on the Wing's roster for 800k

If I recall didn't his play much improve after getting the deal done? Maybe he doesn't handle negotiations well.

Well that and the real Brian Elliott is playing this year.... The same guy that failed in Ottawa and Colorado. He was bound to show up sometime, Halak's injury could be a very big deal hope he stays out through our game on Thursday.

I'm all in for the Blues getting their ***** kicked, but I just wish it wasn't another Central team doing the kicking

Can't say it's hindsight when I wanted Gus and/or Tatar up for the entire season after seeing how terrible our bottom 6 clearly was at the start of the season. Let one of them play on the 3rd line, provide some secondary scoring, and move into a top 6 role when injuries hit or Bert pulls his typical MIA for a month routine. That's actually foresight.
Hindsight as in: Don't play player X, should have signed player Y after the fact that it was done. Constantly advocating for Player A to get N minutes when you don't even know whether it's going to be better. Frankly, I'd be shocked if any of you made any observations the Coaching staff hadn't.

Kronner wasn't responsible for that 3rd goal but he has been on the ice for 13 of the past 16 goals. Kinda seems like a trend.

He always does that. He'll sit on those 2 goals for the rest of the season and crawl into a corner. Believe me I saw this guy on the Rangers play season after season. And now he's even older.

It only took one period for Babcock to demote Tatar to the third line.

Amazing, and I thought forward depth was something we didn't need to worry about.
And that one point scored by our bottom six was from a PP assist by Eaves... who is a healthy scratch tonight.
