He always does that. He'll sit on those 2 goals for the rest of the season and crawl into a corner. Believe me I saw this guy on the Rangers play season after season. And now he's even older.

It only took one period for Babcock to demote Tatar to the third line.

Amazing, and I thought forward depth was something we didn't need to worry about.
And that one point scored by our bottom six was from a PP assist by Eaves... who is a healthy scratch tonight.

I thought none of us minded how they [Tatar/Nyquist] got into the lineup, so long as they have?

A little bit in my opinion. Like I said I don't think he is playing super poor we have bigger problem, but he isn't the guy I was expecting either. It should hurt whatever his contract demands are. I am a little surprised one of Howard and Filppula isn't signed have to think Holland has opened those negotiations, points to them both having high asking prices. Howard's has to be dropping, you know the Wings would have inked him for 4 million per for 4 years, so..... What is he asking for?

It's so depressing isn't it? He's suppose to be our best dman, ugh!

Maybe we can sucker the Flames into a Kronner for Jay-Bo trade? Don't like the lifetime deal Kronwall has at all.

Ilitch should offer Lidstrom the naming rights to the new arena and one of his casino's to come back for another decade.

Almost all of the deals and coaching decisions people are ragging on have been against popular opinion on here. Saying "I'd be shocked" isn't really valid when there is an abundance of proof/easily accessible posts.

Um, there's a large contingent of people here who recognize that its useless playing offensive youngsters in the NHL if they're going to be stuck playing with grinders.

Nice job at taking another chance for a condescending post, though.

Don't like even a year and a half of JayBo either.

Kipper hurt is a big chance for us.

Bertuzzi was standing too close to Kipper; gave him the flu.

You mean, like, give him a cigarette and light it up for him after the game while congratulating him on his win?

I was curious so I checked out the game highlights. Nashville basically gets 5 insanely lucky bounces/deflections so I'm still not worried about them right now. Might hurt Elliot's confidence though. Win/win for us? Any game in the West that doesn't go to OT is good by me. Those 3 point games are gonna be killer.

Cleary is where scoring chances go to die.

I wish I had your enthusiasm, but I think we're more in competition with Nashville for 3rd in central/low playoff seed than we are in St. Louis and the division win. Rather St. Louis get the points since they are going to finish above us anyways.

I get that he basically benched himself for 5 minutes to start the game, but it boggles my mind that Tootoo only has 3 minutes of ice time through 45 minutes of gameplay. Its not like hes a defensive liability...
