Word from Flames reporters that Kipper walked out of the JLA without any noticeable signs of injury. We'll see, though.

I'd like to see Irving get a few games in regardless. Might as well see what we have in him.

It's less about the state of the team and more about you coming into every thread that's remotely to do with the Flames and talking about it over and over and over and over and over and over...

The Flames are fine. Irving looked good, Flames defence really helped him out in shutting down the Wings to 6 shots. It will be interesting what the team does.

Yes we will sorely miss the Kipper that played the first 6 games. He hadn't found his game this year (until tonight) and had the worst numbers in the nhl.

Criticize away, but in moderation. People get tired of hearing the same point made a thousand times over, even if it's one with which they tend to agree.

This is a blessing in disguise. It's is a case of the hockey gods putting their collective hand on Calgary's shoulder and whispering "Look, it's over... just embrass the fact that your goose has been cooked for some time. Trade Iginla and wait it out for Jones".

Unless Irving really ***** the bed I don't see Feaster making a move for a immediate replacement. Although he may make a move for a tweener goaltender (AHL) to back up Irving.

I don't see him signing Brust or Taylor to a NHL contract for some reason.

If it's short-term I wouldn't be surprised to see him sign Brust/Taylor. If it's long-term we may need someone with a little more experience.

hmm maybe he thought it was the end of 3rd period and left, and the team thought it was silly so no one stopped him

didn't the feaster trade for Kari Ramo(spelling) last year? Is he still in the system or playing in Europe. He looked good with the lightning a few years ago now.

He is the starter for the #2 team in the KHL, his regular season has 4 games left in it but an extended playoff run is expected as the team was in the finals last year. So he may be available to come over in a couple months but unlikely before then.
