It's amazing how one shot changes everything. What a great goal by Little and great perseverance by the Jets.

Jets are going to have to find a way to keep Postma and Redmond up, nice to see the organization develop two up and coming D men, too bad the same can't be said for the forward prospects.

Big win for our Jets! Started off with a bit of a questionable 1st period given our lack of shots, though we did have a couple real nice opportunities.

Zach Redmond is impressing me. He'll make a mistake here and there but this kid is showing some real nice promise and for a rookie that is huge. Certainly NHL ready and I am excited to see how Zachy Reds does from here on out.

Paul Postma, very impressed. Pauly Post has been a pleasant addition this year. It appears his offensive game has made the transition with ease, he's got the tools and smarts. Defensive game has been comforting considering it wasn't his strongest suit. Like many, have already said, very impressed with #4.

If anything, the development of Redmond and Postma should surely push Clitsome down the deoth chart. No way he should be above these two kids with a healthy blueline.

Feeling very good having 2 young defenders in Postma and Redmond playing quality minutes and giving quality efforts. Among everything these two are doing, I love their confidence as rookies.

Ladd - Burmistrov - Little were very good.

Quite happy we got the win. 4 of next 5 at home, hope we can collect some wins and valuable points because we then play 9 of 11 on the road.

jeez that was a tense game to watch. The Jets are pretty obviously wound up tight right now but they got 2 pts and thats what matters. Maybe they can loosen up a bit now. Postma was beastly. Redmond was solid again though he had a couple nearly tragic give-aways. The powerplay is a mess. PK was better tonight - at least more composed ftmp.

Something to build on...

Redmond had a few errors near the end but he's a rookie working above his head so he did pretty awesome.
Postma, Burmi and Little were all awesome

So in other words Clitsome better not be house shopping in Winnipeg

Every time Redmond was on the ice he was playing the right side. Has he played on the left before? He looks good out there with the odd jitter. But Postma has looked better.

Will it be back to the AHL when Buff and Bogo return?

So, is Redmond tracking to be a #4 defensemen, or is he just over-achieving?

Hainsey will definitely be gone by the deadline with the play of postma and redmond.

I still think Postma's upside is higher, always have. Young defensemen are hard to predict, but Redmond might still be a top 4 guy, but it's hard to say. Certainly not ready for tough minutes just yet, IMO, although I feel better with Redmond or Postma in top 4 minutes than Stuart right now.

barely beat a bad FLA team at home. Pavs still looks like a mess.

"Happy" they won but beat the Leafs and get a road win before I'll get excited again.

The bad tonight, PP unimaginative and predictable, easy to defend.

Joki, Wheeler aside from his lucky goal

Leafs line, Antro by far the fastest on the line and most effective, I don't think Ponki brings much, think I would slot Wright in his spot and either dress Scheff and Peluso and drop Wellwood as well

Never have seen or heard of Postma or Redmond played pro on left side with the exception of PP

I'd say keep him as a #7 and make Clitsome a #8 who rarely sees the ice (a la Flood)

None of them have experience or gunning for Hainsey's spot... They play right side... They track behind Byfuglien and Bogosian.

In agreement, I think the Jets may waive Clitsome and move Hainsey at the halfway point

don't know about Redmond or Postma as numer 7's they both need to play regular shifts

Obviously going off a tiny sample size but I agree.

We all knew Postma has serious offensive skills. His skating, stickhandling and shot are all very good. However, what I've seen is a guy using his smarts to make the right play in his zone, and his speed and puckhandling to get the puck out of trouble. His defensive positioning has been pretty great lately as well. It's a good problem to have, debating which of these guys has top 4 quality. Hopefully both!

Redmond and Postma played like they weren't Jets, meaning they played good; on that note management should be sending them to the farm any day now.
