Well here it is:

Caps play those annoying Penguins having just beat the Flyers in our most consistent game of the young season.

Ovi seems active, Backstrom is making the play and both goalies seem to have a bit of groove.
Will the caps D handle 87 and 71 after a great performance shutting down Giroux?
Can the forwards push the pens D back deep where they are vulnerable?

these questions will be answered and more at the blistering time of 4:30am Monday, Melbourne time.

Go Caps.

Coming in peace to find out your best guess of the line up?

Not up to speed on the Caps.

Caps continue to play better.

6-1 Caps. Six different goal scorers. Crosby with an early third period goal.

Its Jason Brody!

If you come in peace we don't trust you

Expect the same lineup as last game sub Gould for Erskine

"Coming in peace" is overrated.
But here you go.

Wolski - Ribeiro - Ovechkin (or Ovechkin - Ribeiro - Wolski)
Johansson - Backstrom - Brouwer
Chimera - Beagle - Ward
Hendricks - Crabb - Fehr (or Crabb - Hendricks - Fehr)
Alzner - Green
Poti - Carlson
Schultz - Kundratek
Holtby

Blood will be spilled????
The Caps?
We have one of the softest lineups in the NHL. Erksine out, Hendy is the only one we have to stand up for anyone. The rest skate around and avoid any eye contact.

Haha. Thank you very much.

You guys should be having your fill today. Caps and Ravens.

Good luck today with the, Ravens, I'd much rather have them win then, San Francisco. Caps, I hope they find their way, it's not the same anymore. The league needs them running on all 8 Cylinders. So...all the luck one can bestow on an opponent the day of the game.

Cheers, and thanks again.

First game of the season for me to be in attendance. Looking forward to it. Weather has me in a hockey state of mind.

F-16 for some unexplained reason has good games against the Pens. I look for him to contribute.

Asham gone, Beagle wakes from his slumber!

Ovi needs to play like he did against Boston in the playoffs. Start off the game by hitting anything that moves. The Pens are a very soft team. Beat em into submission.

Screw the Ravens, I hope the 49ers stomp them into pulp
tonight.
But it wont happen - Goodell will do all he can to ensure Ray Lewis retires with a 2nd super bowl ring.
Redskins fan for life here.

How a fan base of a team with such a good history has such an overwhelming little brother syndrome, I don't get.

Wouldn't it be great if Ovechkin decided he was going to run Malkin every chance he got like the good old days?

what merits has Jeff Schultz to play under both Hunter and Oates? Slow, awkward, soft, with stone hands and weak shot. I can't stop wondering.

Well, I'm sure there's a mix bag on the matter. I can't control who wins so it'll end up one of those whatever deals.

Can't stand Ray, the thug, should be incarcerated murder, Lewis. Other than him I can actually get behind them. Love Suggs.

Totally understand the Skins for life.

Small commute between the two teams I would think there's a mix bag.

I thought he was gonna get the bench after his last outing. He was brutal last game. Sheesh.

He was fine the past couple games.

If we aren't cussing at the TV because of Schultz, he's doing fine.

i think its funny reading continued degrading of the caps as soft and afraid and weak after reading the flyers board whining about how soft and unwilling the flyer were to engage erskine. just makes me laugh.

fans want blood where the players are far less interested in that.

They went blow for blow against Boston last year, probably the most physical team in the league, and they came out on top. We're not soft. But I would like to see the hitting picked up, especially from Brouwer and Chimera. Those guys can hit, they just haven't been consistent with it so far this season.
