Bolduc has cleared waivers, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's being assigned to Portland although that would be the assumption.

Haha! Sweet! He should be a big help to Portland. I guess they need their real captain back now that we've called up their interim captain in Summers.

He didnt really do much while he was with us. He earned himself the try-out though.

There certainly are worse jobs on life than being a star in the AHL.

He had a few good looks in the fore check I felt, he wasn't invisible to me.

I was surprised he didn't do more. I think he has the ability but he did not look comfortable to me and call ups often do not get the time needed to make that needed impression.

I thought he was excellent (relatively). I'm sure Tippett is glad to have him available when needed.

I think playing him as our second line center was too much. He would have done better as third or fourth line.

Not enough grit to be a 4th line type, to be honest. Chips, Brule, Pouliot and Nokelainen are/were ideal 4th line guys. Bolduc just doesn't bring enough in the 8 mins or so TOI he can expect to see. Klinkhammer should be up with this club IMO.

Doesn't play a strong or hard game. Works well enough in the AHL, but he isn't cut out for bottom 6 duty. Chipchura is much better.
