If we can move steckel for any cheap pick or prospect I'm soooo down.

I'd want someone like Hamilton, cheap and possible reclamation project. Lander I dunno?

It's so funny how these things work... how many people were crying their faces off because we didn't offer Richards enough.... the success rate on these contracts so far is something ridiculously small, they carry so much risk.

Never liked the Steckel deal or player.

These type of deals I don't believe Nonis would have made had he been GM. A 4th rd pick is not insigificant given we have drafted Frattin, Reimer, Nilsson, with 4th rounders. We could have drafted Gemel Smith or another prospect had we held onto that 4th rd pick. The Liles deal same thing, these type of deals seem okay at the time often them turn out lot more than expensive in the end. Not a great idea IMO.

What? For Steckel?

We'll get like a 4th

The Leafs should be playing Steckel on the 4th line instead of Orr, anyway.

He won't cost a lot for other teams if they want to deal him. I'll be happy with a 4th, 5th or 6th even.

But in reality we should put him on the 4th line as he is much more valuable than Colton Orr.

I didn't say he was a Leafs fan, I said that I saw an interview with him when he said that he would have been thrilled if the Leafs had drafted him.

Do not want Martin.

Remember when Ferraro was chirping Phaneuf on air! And then said Martin sucked, that was pretty funny.

Huh. A few weeks ago when people were talking MacArthur for Bernier, I suggested we should work a bigger deal and try to land Loktionov for centre depth as he was stuck in LA. I remember Bomber mocking me because Loktionov was a "top prospect" and me pointing out that it was funny that Colborne wasn't considered as such given their identical ages and very close production levels.

Fast forward to last week and guess what? Loktionov asks for a trade.

Fast forward to today and guess what the return was? A 5th rounder.

Nice!

Nah, don't like it too much

I know Kennedy has been a centre for awhile with them, but if they want to keep him on the wing:

Sutter + 1st

Kule + Bozak +2nd

Loktionov just went for a 5th.

That's dirt cheap for an interesting prospect.

I would have given more than that. Kind of disappointed.

Kulemin is awesome.

Paul Martin is brutal.

Their 1st likely won't turn into anything close to a Kulemin.

1st + one of their good D prospects and I'd think about it.

Morrow, Dumoulin, or Bennett + 1st and I do it.

Harrington, Pouliot, Maata + 1st and I consider it.

Joe Morrow alone would be quite the return for Kulemin. He would be tough for Shero to let go, but with The Pens window to win is now, and them needing wingers (top 6) I would love to be a fly on the wall if Nonis and Shero talk about return.

But IMO Morrow is the guy I want off the Pens prospect roster. They still have Harrington, Pouliot, and Maata so maybe, just maybe Cup fever forces Shero to move one of his D and if I'm Nonis, I drive the bus that it's Morrow.

Yeah Morrow is the one guy I'd do straight up.

An undersized unproven center is the last thing we need.

We could use more forward prospects with upside. Totally worth a 5th rounder for the potential he has.

Would Alexander Ovechkin be a good fit in Toronto?

On this show we ask the question, Would Alexander Ovechkin be a good fit in Toronto? We comment on the team after the first 10 games. Some discussion on Grabo and who the Leafs best fighter/player is, and of course we make fun of the Habs.

Backstrom couldn't get him going, I'm sure Bozak could.
