Impossible. That can't be real. What benefit would it serve?

Uh no ... Rogers owns the broadcast rights to all Oiler games that haven't been purchased by CBC or TSN.

According to the Oilers website, the game is being broadcast on Sportsnet West, and that is where you will be able to view it. It is a regional broadcast, so if you are in BC or Eastern Canada, it will be blacked out.

No, it says "Live on SNET-W". Maybe there are some gremlins in your TV and internet connection.

Sportsnet ran ad for the game last night, talking about being the rematch, and Yakupov playing his idle Jagr again, we should be ok

Doesn't look like it's blacked out on telus

I have center ice so I really don't care, I prefer the Stars pbp guys over Kevin Quinn and Louie DeBrusk.

Could be a technical problem with your provider ... It makes no sense that you would be subject to a regional blackout when you live in Alberta ... Phone Sportsnet directly and see what they say

When was the last time the NHL blacked out a local game? This isn't the CFL.
