WOW, no leafs....That's ridiculous! Reimer played in the world cup, I don't see why he can't make this team as at least a spare. Never know if he can win out a spot because of shaky tending. Wouldn't be the first time a backup won the spot off of the starter

Looking at what may be the potential USA team, we are pretty weak on center. We have good all around centers like Pavelski, Kesler, Backes but no star center. Maybe Galchenyuk will become that eventually, but doubt it happens by next year. I thought Stastny would be, but he hasn't improved.

Well on the bright side, at least we know this list will be 100% better than the one Craig Button will release, that is if TSN allows him to.

Oh my. Aside from that pipe dream, which Leaf deserves it? This is Team Canada here.

What are you talking about Crosby, Toews, Giroux, E. Staal, Bergeron.

EDIT: Sorry I read your thread wrong, yeah you guys are weak on centre.

If marty st louis doesnt make the team i wont be wtaching. If hes still a 80-100 point guy next year it would just be completly disrespectful to keep him off. And not because hes a veteran but because hes a top 10 forward in the world. Never mind a top 13 forward for canada.

Here are the fowards i would pick in the entire world over st louis

1. Crosby
2.malkin
3. Stamkos,

After that i put him in the same class as kovy, sedins, giroux, thornton. MSL is that good

Lupul has more points than Nash, he could beat him out. And if Reimer is hot at the right time, then don't count him out. Remember he made the World Cup, so don't write him off. That's Team Canada btw

I think you mean World Championships, that's the one played during the NHL playoffs.

I love this team in theory, but I think you need a shut-down line. All of our best teams throughout our history have had that guy that made everyone question what the heck they were thinking, but turned out brilliantly. John Tonelli, Dirk Graham, etc. This team needs a guy or two like that.

Yeah, sorry i miswrote it. I mean world Championships. Reimer is a champion, hence why he was on the team

Here's mine....

Kane-Crosby-Benn
Giroux-Tavares-Stamkos
Marleau-Thornton-Eberle
Toews-Bergeron-Perry

Pietrangelo-Weber
Keith-Seabrook
Staal-Letang

Price
Luongo

And as Herb Brooks said: I'm not looking for the best guys I'm looking for the right guys.

Don't lie. You'll watch. If they left Crosby off the team, I'd still watch.

I laughed so hard when he put Fleury on there.

All credibility lost.

Will TSN do projections for other countries soon? I'd like to see USA, Russia, Sweden, etc

Maybe Phaneuf can be a 7th defenceman if he get's his act together. He's like Weber lite, big shot and dominant when on his game. But that's conditional upon him play better

lol does anybody actually have to answer the question "no leafs?" lol

anyway,

i dont think they ll need jordan staal. Rather have Bergeron.

I think a surprise player might be Justin Schultz if he continues his development. Offensive, skates very well, incredible first pass. Those are characteristics of a helluva player on international ice.

They'll have teams, too?

JK.

I get caught up in the "This is Out House" mentality.

Hello no to Richards and no to Jordan Stall. If they're gonna take a stall they'll take the best one, Erik.

Spezza should take Richards spot.

Kinda cool that he chose 3 Staals to make Team Canada. If that actually happened, I can't imagine how proud the Henry and Linda Staal would feel!!
