Name me a better TV show than Prison Break in the past 10 years?

Thank you for phrasing your concern in the way you did. Mine was going to be much more offensive.

I don't think ixuncle understood the Wire.

Of all the time waster half hour comedies out there, this one probably gives me the biggest laughs.

Watched a few episodes of "Prison Break" a few years ago. Did not get the appeal for the show at all.

Here are 5 shows of the past decade that are better than it:

- Big Bang Theory
- The Office
- Breaking Bad
- Scrubs
- The West Wing

I became a big fan of the show after I saw Billy Gardell's stand up. If you like him and his character at all, you gotta give his stand up a shot on Netflix or something. It's one of my favorites of all time, and I am pretty snobby when it comes to stand up acts.

Has anyone watched the version of it without the laugh track? It's painful... I watched the first 3 seasons, after that everything became too repetitive. Personally, I think the best episode was "Euclid Alternative".. which is the one where they attempt to teach Sheldon to drive.

Also, "Bazinga" ranks up with "Swag" and "Yolo" as the most annoying words I have EVER heard. I want to smack each person who says them...

EDIT: Found some of them..

I haven't seen this week's episode, hence I haven't been able to contributing to the free flowing discussion in the official thread yet. However I have watched the other two and plan on continuing.

They've all been mentioned, but for me, I've enjoyed SoA, BB, Deadwood, The Wire, Lost's first 4 seasons, The West Wing all infinitely more than any season of Prison Break. Prison Break isn't even a top 30 show if you include comedies, probably still not if you don't.

You praised a show for its "street" dialogue and its profanity - think about it for a second. If I phrased my objection of your critical thinking ability in any other way it would've been very negative and profane so I didn't.

If ixcuinicle liked the Wire for its profanity and being "street" he might enjoy blaxploitation films.

Serious lack of Six Feet Under in this thread.

Show did more in one episode than most do in their entire lifespan.
