Exactly right. Even when healthy, this looks like the same team as last season and the season before and the season before except that they are getting slightly better every season but it's the same old bad habits year after year. It doesn't matter who is brought in, it seems like a culture thing moreso than anything else. Losers mentality. Their record is not indicative of their play IMO.

Not much in the cupboards D-wise right now.
They should not have been on the ice in OT though. You only need 4 dmen in OT, and the other two pairs are way better. (Though N.Schultz has an off game too)

Even though we lost, I thought we had a good game. Lets not panic too hard, we lost the last couple of games but it isn't as bad it seems since we got some points from OT.

On the bright side, it's nice to see Hall be 60% on the dot.

Hall was a faceoff wizard tonight.

So many o-zone wins. Was impressive.

People forget that this is the same coaching from last year. When everyone was screaming at the Oilers to bench Barker and Belanger but they played them anyways.

Krueger was there, not just Renney.

I had always wanted Sutter, he would have ripped Whitney a new hole after tonights game.

'Clearly' when watching in slow motion from various angles on tv. Heat of the moment that's a call most linesman will miss most of the time.

Cut out the weak goals and we have an all-star goalie.

Dubnyk as he is and we're lucky to get 12th in the conference this year.

Yup, pretty ******* concerning when a team with this much supposed firepower can't pot more than two goals in any given game. It kills me to see Eberle having such troubles.

I care. The compete level of the team was good tonight. Considering we lost Lander during the game I thought Krueger did a good job.

Why would they need to be playing well?

Everything's relative.

I thought this too, he got burned in slow motion, I watched in slowmotion on game center and its basically the matrix.

Whitney was the opposite of good and competant on that last goal.

Reffing did us such favors this eve. One goal that is offiside, too many men not called. Hemksy hit with a careless stick and is cut no penalty.

I thought we pushed the pace in the third. If not for at least one of the two stupid referee mistakes...

Whitneys response to being scratched was to play worse.. horrible .. bad stretch of luck in this game as well.. Still sitting in a playoff spot though.. only 1 point behind the nucks to.. We will turn this around.. I do not understand why Whitney got so much time though, he was noticeably bad all game.
