We needed a save there and Theo didnt give it to us. You can't defend every goal he gives up.

It deflected of Soupy's stick. Not Theo's fault

I did not notice that. In that case I'm with you and there's not much you can do at that point.

Why try to split that, Hubs? Pass the puck.

Good period. Still a little too cute in the offensive zone.

Versteeg is frustrating as hell sometimes.

Kulikov looks great until he's in the offensive zone and he has to do something with the puck.
He needs to play more like Mueller and less like Kovalev.

That goal is kind of ******** if you ask me. more toughness needed, but Jose should of covered it up .

Pretty ridiculous. No chance that wasn't covered under Theo's blocker and there's definitely no chance the ref didn't lose sight of it.

That was a horrible turnover by Huberdeau. He tried to split the defense down the middle when both guys were standing shoulder to shoulder while he had a guy standing open immediately to his right.

Knuble also clearly pushed the blocker aside with his stick. The puck was flat covered.

What's your issue with Parros? Knuble is wacking away and Campbell and whoever else was there were standing around not taking him out. He might have lost his man in Read but we weren't getting a whistle.

From the camera angle, sure it looked covered.

But from where Knuble was? I wouldn't bet on it. The blocker isn't exactly the best method to cover the puck.

Agreed. Just let Knuble keep whacking away at that puck. What's it going to hurt? Sigh.

Sure, it isn't. But the ref was standing on the opposite side of the net. He definitely lost sight of that puck. And for more than 1-2 seconds. A whistle should've come.

What was he supposed to do there? Cleaned the guy out, someone else should've had Read.
