That's pretty awful and I can't come up with a single reason why they felt they needed to do that.

Very disappointing. I think both Blues and Hawks fans wanted to see them throw down.

We were definitely looking forward to Bollig getting off the ice.

I wanted to see the fight.
But the linesmen will do that if you take too long.

There was this one huge linesmen, Kevin Collins I think, who was notorious for that. He'd even jump in while guys were throwing punches.

That's brutal, they'll stop them if they take too long but it's not like they stood looking at each other. Saad was in the way and then the linesmen got between them pretty fast.

I've seen at least 3 fights already this year where the dayum linesmen were all over the fighters like a cheap suit WHILE they were tossing. Christ on a cracker, get the heck out of the way and let them finish it.

The linesmen should be fined for this ****.
Or just fired. We donīt need incompetence like this.

From the "opinions on the refs" thread:

I think they took this line too seriously.

Fighting is now illegal in the NHL. You didn't get the memo?

To post YouTube it's after the "=" and before the "&". Downey vs. Norton was brutal and the linesmen rightfully stepped in on that one.
