Would've rather seen Dumo than Reese, but oh well.

It's my birthday today. So come on, Sid and Geno, each score a hattrick for me. That's not too much to ask for, is it?

I'm confused by the name of the GDT over on the Caps board: "Draft Lottery Riggers vs. Draft Lottery Losers."

They've already forgotten the draft they won & picked Ovechkin? Or maybe it's become clear that by not picking Malkin they lost that draft after all. Either way, the crying about rigging the draft will never get old.

Would be stupid not too, especially with Niskanen out. Though Martin will probably be on the first unit.

Great. The Pens next 2 games are on the NHL Network. So glad I spent 50 bones on center ice so that a third of the games can be blacked out by a network nobody gets.

Totally legitimate NHL goalie.

That'd be like the Penguins starting Patrick Killeen down the stretch this season 'to see what he has'...as if we don't know a 3rd year pro ECHL back-up isn't a NHL goalie as it is.

You're not wrong, but since when has facts and truth ever got in the way of this board freaking out?

They're certainly headed for a very good placement in the ping-pong ball derby for Seth Jones, that's for sure.

I have a bad feeling about this game, especially if Letang isn't playing.

I don't remember any injuries to Letang unless something happened in practice. Maybe he caught Kunitz's SARS or whatever.

Doesn't Adam Banks look like a young Tyler Kennedy?

Also.

Would very much like to see Crosby get his first hat-trick of the year.

LOL at Sid calling it classless that Isles fans cheered his injury the other night. Cue main board thread in 3...2...1...

Yeah, I don't remember him missing any time in Tuesday's game or any mention of him being injured.
