Just wondering, Jets fans. What would it take? We need more scoring from our 3rd line (last game was a fluke).

I'm not too sure what your needs are.

Beware on Poni. Penguin fans have seen that movie before. It was a horror film.

Almost anything. Poni has just been a good big body for us down low and Wellwood has been invisible. Just my opinion.

I don't want either of those players.

Obviously it wouldn't cost us too much. If we can get either one for Murray, or Handzus+6th, I'd do it.

You have to admit, our scoring from our 3rd line sucks.

Jets need Poni IMO. Wellwood could be had for a third at the deadline probably.

It's early, but looking so far as if San Jose could go far in the playoffs and the Jets...not so much. Our needs are for the future, yours for the present. Welly is smart, slick but soft. He got us a ton of points in the '12 reg season, but might flag in the playoffs.
Poni was great for NJ, esp in in the playoffs, is a solid third liner, but won't give you a ton of points.
Neither has gotten off to a great start this year.
AFAIC, you could have either (?both) plus our second, for your 2013 first and change. Keep in mind that, based on today's standings, Wpg's second pick will be 16 places below your projected low first round pick. You might even have a lower '13 pick with that sniper Wellwood on board this year.
