LOL

I was on my couch opening night and fully understand why people boo him.

and I do hope DP gets BOMBED in every game he plays.

but what does that have to do with you making a epic stupid comment?

"Isles fans are worse than ______ fans"

can you understand how idiotic that comment is?

Perhaps you are a Rangers fan??

Isles vs Rangers in 80s and 90s? THOSE WERE THE DAYS. Two guys rolling down the steps of the coliseum.. both get thrown out.. and continue in the parking lot.

Like the rest of the world, we are getting too effing PC>

Now we cant cheer when the star of the other team goes off the ice bleeding?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

You can dummy down and numb up my entire world, but I'M GOING TO ****ING CHEER WHEN THE STAR OF THE OTHER TEAM GETS HURT!!!

Not if it's Ray Bourque.

Or Ovechkin.

Or someone classy who you just hate playing against.

Sidney earned his hatred through hard work and much crying. Late punches, cheap shot bench....Sorry, I cheer when karma hits him in the ovaries.

I believe players start out neutral where fans do not want to see them hurt. And most play and we will clap when they are helped off.

The Pens bench, as they operate, indices quite the opposite reaction.

I will clap when any dirty Flyer player gets helped off because they may be dirty but they play with class.

The Pens would kick a player when down and cry to the refs that they got their blade dull in the incident - and get a two minute powerplay for the incident.

So sorry, Sid, but our fans are smarter than yours. We don't clap when a good guy gets hurt, just your ilk you sack of feces.

You live by the sword, you die by it. Your reputation got you the reaction, not the Islanders or LI population.

no, it's just a common holier than thou thing. Many fans have it until they see a Tucker hit or a slewfoot injure our guy. I would HOPE they'd be in 218 screaming,"live and let live! Turn the other cheek, friend!" in the stands the way they write here.

"Peca, you still got a good knee, buddy!"

I boo'd him. Then he played one decent game. I'm less likely to boo him. But still more likely in the future to boo him because of his past.

See? It's a natural phenomenon that allows all intelligent creatures to adapt to survive. Prejudice tells us not to go into an alley at dark or to go to a van for candy or to cheer for the ******** who try to take our our players or cheer for the crybaby who always has late punches to throw and who always cries to the refs.

F him. I learned like any intelligent being to not like or trust him. Want me to show some class? I'll yell "F Crysby" and then apologize to the fans nearby, thanks. Ya know, just like any passionate fanbase would.

Perhaps we should stand silent in rubber suits and cheer only when the jumbotron has a puck race or the noise meter goes off?

Video was posted to the main board and it doesn't sound all that bad in full context.

In any case, I'm not into booing players who are down like that.
