I thought all those sort of comments from him were rather spot on anyway.

I think he's got at least another good year left. I'd want him back if we can get him.
actually, it pretty much only matters what the fans think. bears had so little credibility left with fans after we watched the team become what was essentially a complete joke on one side of the ball (due in no small part to lovie), that all the limp dicked platitudes and excuses in the world weren't going to save smith. that's not to say that organizations should take a poll of fans to make every decision, but lovie had plenty of time and kept failing. and i have no problem with meatballs like urlacher thinking the types of dumb things he came out and said, but you don't say it publicly, and especially not when you're washed up, an fa, and the entire management staff is new. unless of course you don't want to come back.

Bears are in a real good positon. Filled the biggest needs, have some Cap Space left and most starting spots are filled. If we need Cap Space, we can restructure Tillmans contract. I'm sure both sides would want it.

Cliff Stein has proven again what great job he's doing with the contracts. Bennett and Bushrods contracts are favoring the Bears

That depends on the individual fan though. To me, I personally don't care. All that matters to me is that they win on the field and do whatever it takes to do that. Anything else is just media drama and I have no interest in it. "Coach Speak" never really bothered me either. I know Lovie was full of s--t with a lot of him comments, but I think the whole process is dumb anyway. The media shoves microphones down everyone's throat every chance they get and they ask the same stupid questions over, and over, and over, and over. It's so ridiculous that it doesn't matter what the answer is. I really don't care about any of that garbage. I think the reality is often clear enough.

And by the way, when they win on the field and if they win a Superbowl, most fans tend to forget about all of the other media drama and comments.

Greg Jennings is visiting with the Vikings. My honest guess is that he figures out Minnesota is offering him right around what Green Bay is and he stays with the Pack.

If I'm wrong, it's no big deal. Minnesota still isn't better than the Packers and maybe even the Bears, and they will have less money to spend. Jones, Nelson, and Cobb is still a really good core. Just draft another receiver. I mean, their amazing core has no first-round picks. The White Wizard will nab us another beast.

The Packers have already gotten worse. Don't hop around on your high horse just yet.

Explain, please.

They lost their worst cover corner/safety and the worst 3-4 OLB in the league.

I actually don't think he has that much left in the tank, but if it's one less target that they actually want and fail to get, I'm happy.

Well, we didn't get a 30+ RB I thought would really help.

I guess we'll just have to have Eddie Lacy tear it up. Good with me if it happens.

I will be dumbfounded if the Packers don't draft Eddie Lacy. I truly will be. I expect them to go running back and then safety with their first two draft picks.

I'm thinking they might go after a guy like Chris Ivory.

However, the Pack don't try to win March, they try to win January, so they probably won't do anything.

If you're taking a RB in the first round it better be a damn Peterson-like back.
