Is anyone familiar with Central Ohio Roller Hockey? It's been a long time since I've played roller, but the location and times are much more convenient for me than the Chiller adult leagues.

I've got some friends who play in it. I use to play dek when it was out in Dublin and then they moved down to Grandview. The rink use to be up in Westerville. I play ice, so havent played roller down there

Bruins fan coming in peace! I have adopted the Jackets as my 2nd team, and am pulling them to make a playoff birth this season! That said, I am wondering if anyone knows about the system they have at Nationwide when it comes to away teams departing. I am going to be at the game this weekend where you will be hosting the Bruins, and am looking to at least get a few hand shakes with my boys in Black and Gold. Does anyone have any information about where/how the away teams exit, and is there an opportunity to see them as they exit? I appreciate any info!

As far as tickets near the Bruins bench, it's section 104. It's still mostly our own STHs. Against Boston specifically, the air can get extremely thin near the tunnel...Brad Marchand manages to inhale a disproportionate amount of oxygen through that nose.

For away teams entering/exiting the building, that all takes place underneath and behind a security checkpoint.

Usually the only way you could get close to the players leaving is having a backstage pass.

I am looking to buy tickets on stubhub for the first time in a couple of years (other than Indians games - they are the official marketplace in that case) after being burned a couple of times in a few months (once with a Browns preseason game, once with a Jackets game). Any tips on things to look for to avoid fake listings on stubhub for Jackets games?

I've used stubhub many times over the past few years and never had a problem.

My main concern is having to pay for replacement tickets if the tickets are bad (the one time I got burned on Jackets tickets, the crowd was so light that the Jackets gave us alternate tickets as a goodwill gesture). I know that the fanprotect guarantee covers alternate tickets if StubHub can find them, but the gates open only an hour before the game (only big-league team in Ohio to open their gates that late on a regular basis*), so that's not a lot of time to call stubhub and get replacement tickets from them. Also, a refund does little good after driving two hours from Cleveland.

Sounds like I just had a really unlucky stretch there. (I did manage to get into the Browns game as they caught the seller at the seats they had sold us and evicted them for selling bogus seats).

I say "on a regular basis" because the Indians do open an hour before for 12:05 PM weekday games.

Thanks! I am leaning towards buying from stubhub. It's for a weeknight game, so there shouldn't be much difficulty getting replacement tickets if necessary.

I've always thought that they should at least open the doors for STHs an hour and half before the game.

Have you tried the Blue Jackets Ticket exchange? They are the official resale site and sell reissued tickets (meaning the bar codes on the original ticket holder's tickets are cancelled so you hold the only tickets with a valid barcode)
