will flat out get this out of the way before any questions.

Yes, that list was made borderline haphazardly, at least after a point.

I lost my old computer (HD crash), and the list I had been working on, a few days before the deadline to get the list in. As a result the initial list isn't even close to what I would have liked. In fact the reason I chose not to vote in the first vote of round 2 is because I didn't have the opportunity to catch up with discussions with my list in once I did get my new computer. It's unlikely that Roy would have maintained the #5 ranking I had him at, and he almost certainly would have moved into my top 3, keeping the end result of vote 1 intact.

I'm curious to know what made you change your mind on Hugh Lehman between Votes 5 and 6.

on Lehman I quite honestly don't even remember. For the most part I usually have a good reason when I change my mind on someone, can't say I do on this one. Round 6 was a bit of a weird one for me IIRC since I missed round 7 due to what can be described as no less then insanity at work, what with having half of my coworkers out sick and getting a project implemented at the same time. Very well could have influenced a set of votes that looks out of place for round 6 since I'm pretty sure I was starting to see the stuff that kept me out of round 7 taking effect there.

I dislike...

+ Terry Sawchuck at no. 2. Overrating over overratedness.
+ Seth Martin at no. 36. I have problems seeing any argument for Martin in the Top-50 to be honest, and I seriously felt a terrible abdominal pain when I saw that Chuck Rayner was (quite) below Martin... and possibly 20 ranks too low. Not crediting anything to Rayner afterwards (even though you missed a crucial round in that regard) seems worse, even though you might have completely missed the opportunity to vote for him (memory is a bit sketchy in that regard).

I like ...

+ I think you perfectly nailed it for guys like Barasso and Joseph. Broda below Durnan, like it should and like it should have been.
