GDT: Manitoba[Vancouver] @ Milwaukee 7:00 CST

Admirals play two straight home games against the Moose, tonight and Thursday. Manitoba with a solid team, led by Sarno (66 pts),King(55 pts),Kesler(45 pts),and Goren(50 pts).....Baumgartner and Bieksa are their top line blueliners...while Auld and Flaherty rotate in net, both with similiar numbers, would expect to see Flaherty because of his Admiral background

Admirals tied with Chicago now at 85 points, this game will be Milwaukee's game in hand over the wolves, with 16 games to go for the ads-15 for the wolves.

would expect the exact same lineup MIL's trotted out there these during this last three game winning streak (unless Fiddler is somehow ready to go).

whistles everywhere...admirals 0 for 4 on the pp in the first period...moose 0 for 2...admirals outshoot the moose 22-6 in the first frigging period...but flaherty shuts the door and we have no score....

shishkanov with an amazing 5 shots on net in the first period, hutchinson, upshall and fiddler all with 3 each...admirals cann't score on a 1 minute,16 second 5 on 3 early...severson-lehoux with a fight

suter's first ever pro pp goal...

1-0 MIL 16:22 2nd PP Suter(4) from Smith(26) and Hamhuis(31)

suter's 17th point,smith's 44th and hamhuis's 42nd (tieing him with hutch)

amazingly Milwaukee has outshot the moose 41-11 after two periods...Milwaukee already with 7 guys with 4 or more shots...

bad bounce off the corner board at the 15:48 mark of the third..puck defelcts off the board directly in front where morrison goes over finley's shoulder and ties it late at 1-1...man too many chances for the admirals to not have put up at least a 2 goal lead

Winning one for the ages
Quote:
How fitting that it came down to this: good friends Tony Hrkac and Wade Flaherty, going one-on-one in a tension-packed shootout at the Bradley Center. It was a matchup of the two oldest players in the American Hockey League, the 38-year-old Hrkac and 37-year-old Flaherty, the goaltender who led the Milwaukee Admirals to the Calder Cup championship last season. But this time Flaherty was playing for the Manitoba Moose and making his first appearance in Milwaukee since last May

according to guys on the other board that were at the game...tootoo went all out on a check attempt, missed the guy and checked himself into the boards..and never returned...no word yet on the seriousness or whether it's enough to make him miss gametime

I think Reid Simpson is going to be called up soon. if not I'd really like to see us sign Francis Belanger. He's scored over 20 goals this year in the UHL, and even though he hasn't fought a lot this year. He is very capable of doing the enforcer roll. + its obvious he can play.
