Refs must have a quota this year.

I don't think Semin dove he looked like he was going down before he was "hooked"

Carolina scored in the opening minute then recently tied it 2-2 but Flyers almost immediately responded to go up 3-2.

He did get in the face by the arm on the first one, that they didn't call. Pretty sure there was no embellishment on that one.

Gross making Skinner his ***** is sweet. Knuble can't play vs these high skilled teams. God bless him, but he is too slow

Knuble getting the old "orange and black treatment". Seriously, I hate people who whine and fuss over every penalty, but they need to use instant replay or something, the officiating in this game is worse then the NFL replacement refs.

Bryz really not getting much protection right now. He's getting slashed, poked and prodded. Someone needs to get knocked right on their ass

I think Giroux and Briere should be separated for the line.

Sounds like Bryz is having an average game according to Saunders. Not that worried considering he's been incredible most of the year.

Damn, Schenn was almost sprung. Schenn has really looked much better this game.

Bryz doesn't looked poised this game. Looks kinda shaky. Doesn't look like he has command of the crease. Definitely an off day for Bryz.

That call on Knuble gets called every time guys. Switch Briere win McGinn, he and simmer could create room for G.

But then you run the risk of making the other two lines that are looking pretty effective ; not as effective.

McGinn / Schenn / Voracek <- Has looked really well.

Knuble / Couts / Read <- Has a really nice cycle game, and Knuble is always battling down low / in front.

I'm not sure how you could break up the lines now that Simmonds and Briere are healthy.

Another good period.

Giroux has been a ghost this game, though.

Flyers started to fall asleep there late in the period. Can't have another 3rd like they did against the canes last time

Solution, bench Briere and double shift a fwd earning his playing time.

Maybe because his stature? He plays nothing like JVR. McGinn works hard in the dirty areas and is very poised for a rookie when he handles the puck. Makes the smart effective play.

Saw a replay of the trip, looked more like Knuble just had his stick there at the wrong time, Semin was already off balance.

The first play yeah he got a hand in the face, but he stood there for like 3 seconds with his head back holding his face looking for the call.

Still irritated by that Rinaldo "dive". Looking for a makeup

And that call on Zac to kill a 3 on 1 makes you wonder if we can keep playing him. His reputation is obviously hurting us. These refs need to be punished for making up calls.
